Anybody going from the North West?

Hi people. Is there anyone heading up from the north west of England or passing by J26 on the M6 on their way up. I've got the Friday off and so was going to take the scenic route up avoiding motorways as much as possible. Could also leave Thursday afternoon if anyone is up for that
