Just got back from a fantastic ride out with GB and Ben and read the sad news that Sir David Frost had passed away at the age of 74 after suffering a heart attack.
Sad news about one of the truly great bradcasters.
RIP

very sad his interview with tricky dickie . Richard Nixon was brilliant ,he even managed to get him too say sorry.how many mp,s say that.?????? Eh .al

He died on the cruise ship Queen Elizabeth and so family will have to wait for his body to be flown back from wherever the next port of call is. Used to like him on "through the key hole when I was a kid " but obviously he's remembered for far more reaching achievements than that , 74 is considered a bit young these days eh?

what I find really shocking over and over again is that you can be the most distinguished person of your generation, but it takes just a generation change and you are forgotten.
I have to google a lot of people names, who appear to be famous within ABR crowd, yet were most known before I was even born :silly:
