Got a Job!

Post by Thedktor »

.
Couple of months back I posted up a desperate plea for help after failing miserably to get re-employed. Lots replied with ideas and genuinely useful suggestions which was really very kind, thank you all that did.

At the same time I went to a couple of agencies for some temp driving work and one generously gave me a week’s work immediately despite my zero experience! After proving that I could drive a Transit without crashing it more and more work came in and I was kept pretty busy!

Enjoyed it but at less than seven pounds an hour not a great way to earn a living. Then, a couple of weeks ago I was offered a real job, with an immediate start and I’m now into my second week.

The company is expanding and hence the new role for me, but as it is with these things its a little uncertain how things will work out. In the meantime, however, I’ve got a regular income, yay!

Oh, its back in the leisure-marine industry (boats of course), at Chichester Marina. And in a few weeks we’ll be at Southampton Boat Show…

Yessss!!! I'm well pleased to here your good new B)

If you are in the leasure-marine industry why add to your income by harbour whoring and shifting the gin palaces around for the posh knobs who cant sail them and just want them parked up so they can pose with their G&T's?

Well done Steve, more fuel for the DR and more cake in the household :)
