January 2014 Rally

Post by MarkN »

Hi All,

I've had an email this afternoon asking if I am thinking of organising a rally in January again. I'm more than happy to if the interest is there?

We had a great weekend this year, if a little wet, at The Clay Pigeon here in Dorset. The manager said that they'd welcome us back if we wanted to go again, so, would we like to go back there?

The upsides are that we have our own function room to eat and drink in during the evening and there is a cafe / club room to sit in if the weather is bad (like this year)

The downside is that we're not allowed camp fires etc and that we miss a bit of the "roughing it" feel to a rally.

I'm thinking of 17-19 January or 24-26 January as its the only weekends I can do.

What is the general opinion?

Cheers

Mark

We all had a great time last Jan, look forward to doing it again.
