Just a thought. Seems that on a regular basis, alsorts of topics appear in the "welcome newbie" section as it's the default choice for new posts.!

I was guilty of this last night :pinch: and thought of a couple of reasons to look into it... Less for mods to monitor/move, and maybe more importantly, useful information being missed, or not input, by members who navigate the forum by sections rather than viewing the latest posts/topics.

Could the default topic be something other than welcome newbie? Or left blank so members are propmted to pick a section for the topic?

If nothing else it'll save me looking like a cock next time I post something new!

It may change when we upgrade to a new version of the forum software.

We, the mods, move incorrect threads all the time, it's really not a problem.

So for now you'll still look a bit of a cock.
