Hello folks,

Is anyone using side tank bags? I'm looking for some but have only found Famsa and Touratech at extortionate prices :(

Thanks

I second wolfman... Cracking stuff.

The little enduro tankbag is perfect for Acerbis tanks too.

Visited the Kriega stand at the bike show and the company's 690 had two of these connected together hanging down either side of the tank against down the tank as displayed here

http://www.kriega.com/tank/

then add either the US 5/10/20 creating side tank bags.
Bought this for myself as the 640 tank is plastic and an odd shape

Have you tried Army Surplus? Been using Dutch airforce haversacks as panniers for decades. Depending on size, you have a lot to choose from.

I use old army panniers too. Canvas. Super tough and really well made stuff. If only it was waterproof :(

Still, dry bags are cheap and come in all kinds of sizes. It's nice to be able to use dry bags to sort your luggage AND keep it all dry too.

Dry bags don't have to be thick like an Ortlieb rackpack.

Quite a few Serow owners use the army saddlebags & I've seen ATV tank bags on ebay that may suit your needs. Along the same lines at the horse bags that MikeC suggested, I've also seen dog saddlebags that claim to be waterproof.
If you're going to the Horizons Unlimited event then there's usually lots of examples and traders to talk to about accessories :)
