Sat Nav

Post by Lolo »

Dilemma . Due to my dyslexia, which effects my directional co-ordination, I cannot manage without my sat nav, I would not even get to work!

My Tom Tom rider 2 has died. Ive been offered a second hand one but for £100 more I could have a brand new Zumo 660.

Can't decide.....

Defo go for the Zumo, you don't have to have the 660, they do a cracking 230 made just for bikes. Well worth a look, and you could always try the 550 another good buy imoh.

Stick with your tomtom, it's far simpler to use and it's already familiar to you, garmin will be totally different menu set ups etc.

I've sent off for a new screen for 10 but im not sure i trust myself taking it to bits and putting it back together so it is still waterproof.

I have till tonight before the offer goes on the tom tom. Still decided .:)

I'm giving a Peaklife a try. Will be posting back shortly on my views and I posted a thread asking about it which had a number of other views on it on there.

Must admit, always liked the TomTom kit and ruled the Garmin kit out on price.
