So what's the verdict. Was it like new like Nick Sanders Triumph Explorer, or was it fecked?

I would really like one of these, but I just couldn't afford one.

I think you'll find it was a Yamaha XT1200z super tenere, not a Triumph ;)

Unless he's done it again? :woohoo:

german kaputt is a very relative term, it might be just a normal wear and tear :)

Yes it does, however it says Kaputt? It has a question mark next to it. I am saying this on my knees praying as I own one and have just passed 5000 miles.
As Ducati state that it only needs a major service every 15k then I would be surprised if it was fcuked after 30k.....the eternal optimist me ya know......
I have just taken mine for the first service and it needs new clocks which is apparent,y a normal fault, the whole clock fascia has to be changed which needs to be ordered from Italy. Apart from that it has been faultless apart from the tyre wear which was rubbish so have changed them for Pirelli Angel ST's.

The Kaputt did have a question mark. The answer could have been a resounding 'no, it's perfect', but given that list Moto Al just posted, I won't be getting one.
