Ride Out - 13 Feb - Cumbria
Re: Ride Out - 13 Feb - Cumbria
Hi James count me in for this one. Not working that weekend.
Adventure motorcycling is a challenge for those who go but only a dream for those who stay behind.

Hi James
I will come and meet up with you and have a bimble, but working sometime that afternoon,
so might have to cut it short.

If I can get back from working in Edinburgh, I'll pop along too...B)
Suggest bacon butties and mugs of hot coffee in the Lay-by just down the road at Caton.

It's the North West Group mate, where we go one, we go all Big Dave needs to get on the road in the afternoon so not too late mate. From Lancaster to Cumbria is not that far so we can all go the National Park then work it out from there?Paul wrote:James, I would like to come on this one if I am fit. if you continue 0.5 mile from meeting point into Lancaster, next to the Shell garage there is a bacon buttie shop + coffee. Just a thought.
James, i'll just split off when it's time for me to go to work, and leave you all playing in the Lakes.

Yeah there is! I should have thought of that given I ride that route each day to work in Morecambe!
Perhaps next time for the butty spot then, as I have mass emailed all the NW Group with the Holiday Inn. I'd be gutted to think that anyone was sat outside the Inn wondering where we were!
But great idea if folks want to get there early and grab a butty first. The thing I have found with bikers is that we have a propensity to do things on the spare of the moment; a wonderful trait in my opinion! So I'd like to keep the meet location the same and avoid possible confusion mate. Sounds good for the next NW Lancaster meet tho!
