Re: CCM 450 Adventure
Does CCM stand for Clews Chinese Motorcycles these days?
Am I the only one that thinks it looks like a cheap Chinese piece if sheite, as seems to be the way for many CCM models these days.
I've had 3 644's and a 404 in the past and they were proper solid built bikes, albeit with their own little faults but this is just tacky.

Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.
Re: CCM 450 Adventure
i hope ccm have sorted out the service times on the 450cc.
oil /filter every 10 hrs !
full strip every 70 hrs !
throttle count down at full throttle 30sec to back it off !! "warranty get out clause"

Re: CCM 450 Adventure
You'll find that these service timings assume racing conditions as in the case of a typical Enduro or Motorcross machine.
As an adventure machine the use is likely to be far less severe which in reality would greatly increase these service intervals.

Lightness is everything.
Lightness with Grunt is a Scratcher!
An Adventure is not a tank transfer.

No, it's Chinese Clews, a bit like Chinese Whispers but different :woohoo:Tonibe63 wrote:Does CCM stand for Clews Chinese Motorcycles these days?

I'm not sure it does look as you describe. Plenty folk are running long distances on Chinese engines and the running gear hopefully is up to CCM and Rally Raid specs.
I like my 644 and 404 and, I gotta say I like the look of this.
Re: CCM 450 Adventure
Was going to post the same thing, having just sold my G450X with the same engine .... I cant see you getting far on this as a proper Adv bike if they havent increased the oil capacity and extended the service intervals to something reasonable..Does look pretty cool though, so would definitely like to test ride oneandymac wrote:i hope ccm have sorted out the service times on the 450cc.
