That is an awesome looking bit of kit,what would be nice would be that twin built into a crf450/250f frame !! bit of fabrication but im sure it could be done

+1 russ well found, that looks great.

pat (datsunfan) sold an almost finished rally spec @T project recently, it only went for just over a grand if i had the spare cash i'd have had that :(

What about that but with a dullville running gear and its a shaft drive adv

that africa twin engine weights a tone. if you want a lightweight twin in a crosser frame, aprilia makes one, called rxv :)

The rxv is a beautiful bike but difference being that at motor will outlast most of us were as the rxv wont every single person ive known thats had one has had no end of trouble with them,granted the 450 doesnt seem to be as bad as the 550 but i wouldnt touch one with a barge pole

why have a shaft drive? every mx and enduro has a chain and sprocket so the gear ratio can be changed to suit terrain..thats why BMW Panzers always get stuck in the Gloop :P and yep those Aprilia need constant maintenance and being Italian have a crap spares availability where Honda`s last forever..quite a few with 250k on them..

Why so serious???im a chain person thru and thru and am very happy with my tigger the idea of the shaft was so the bmw guys could offer a bit of chat here too lol :woohoo:
