France, October, 1995, 13.00, CBR600, me, Fiesta, local driver, cross-roads, perfect visibility, my right of way. Did he look? Did he feck....
4 months, 2.5 ft of scars, two ops, and 57 staples later:

holy shit that must have been horrific mate. I am going to be such a defensive rider when/if i pass and ride to Romania.

Not so much a scar , but a scare... it's a "light bulb" dislocation, which is fairly rare. lots of doctors looking at your x-ray then muttering to each other then going away to get more docs is a bit disconcerting!

Not so much left with a scar but a lump from a boken coller bone.
Came off a quad bike wilst chasing cammels in the desert Dohh!

Just ask Patsy Quick,she did hers on Sunday on the 'fast route' over the tyres which I only did the once thank-you very much.
