Post by JimboF650 »

Having already used all my holidays (some of which went on ABR weekends) I'm now stuck in the office on my own, one or two people also expected in I hope. Roads were empty, am I the only one working today?

That's a bummer Jimbo.

I've done next to F all this year including not having a holiday, so I'm glad to say that I'm off till the new year. :)

You're not on your own matey, our company have decided as we are a "blue chip" company we have to be seen to be working 24/7/365 it's my first shift in of four tonight and that means I'm in tomorrow night, boxing day night and the 27th. So I'm totally Ba fookin humbugged out!

Merry fookin Chrimbo!

I was in yesterday and again today. We have a holiday embargo from Nov to Dec 25th, although last night, as all my managers had worked the system, I was the only one there out of 1200. Back in today 2pm -10pm. There won't be a manager in sight!
Oh and because tomorrow falls on a day when my shift wouldn't be in anyway, it's not a holiday, so no holiday pay.

With so many unemployed and so few "quality" jobs, employers are really taking the pi55!
