Many thanks ABR Peaks Rally.

Just a quick note of thanks for all that turned out for the ABR Peak Rally! It was a hard one for many reasons that people had to work and social commitments - the weather was rather 'sucky' also!
I myself had to come down on the Saturday morning due to sorting things out at home and had to go back in the afternoon to sort somethings out - when you have 5 kids and 1 on the way, these things happen
But I got my ride out and it was great to see the faces at the rally - a walk around the Bull in the Thorns was something to see. A very old pub but such a warm welcome to a coffee and bacon role.
Pop Maddocks lead the ride out for the road and I joined in - nice to sit back and just go for a ride! Twisting up the VERY greasy roads was great fun. A little twitchy with a thinning front tyre but it all added to the fun and adventure.
The 'winter' rallies can be the hardest to face but sometimes the most enjoyable once you are out and about at 9 to 3 degrees of Best of British.
A few snaps that I got when I pitched up will be on here.
A huge thank you to Rally Man (I've forgotten your forum name!)for very kindly taking over the cash collection for the rally payment to The Bull.
The Old World Pub - over 5'6"? Watch your skull!
Getting ready for the ride out
I'm looking forward to the next rally and more and more I am looking forward to an excellent 2013.
See you on the roads!
