I don't suppose anyone has one of these in their garage under a dust sheet. ;)

Never enough time and so much to see and experience.

Previously a VStrom 650, and a KTM SMR 950, currently XT600E with many mods. And now a F800GS Trophy since the KTM has gone.

I had a bike, old like that, a Rudge - the missus gave it to a pikey one day. I got a new wife.

I had an old B33 and ran about all over the place on it. I got so sick of fixing it, I will never have another old bike. Gimme Honda - I want to get where I'm going.

British iron ? Great if someone else has worked on it. Count me out.

I could be tempted by a Triumph TR6c or TR5T I must admit.

Nice to see that some people do use them, rather than simply wrapping them in
cotton wool... Believe I'm right in saying the Owners Club is quite active...

Pity they didn't keep going, as they were at the pinnacle of engineering, in the day..

Things might have been so different for the UK bike industry...

Oddly enough, while the Japs killed off the UK bikes with their inline 4s,
we were making flat twins, v twins and square 4s long before the final curtain...

Alright, we've got Norton and Trumpet back running now, and there's
the massive cottage industry catering to a myriad of old bikes, but would be
nice to see another half dozen of the old manufacturers resurrected..

i was always big into vintage bikes, but i have never owned one. Had a chance a good many years ago to buy a vintage 1930s indian chief with the suicide shifter, it was going for noting at the time. But sadly noting is exactly what i had . It would be worth around £30,000 today. always regretted it.
