Just a thought last night! Does anyone have text contact with Redmurty AKA Spud as the last thing we heard from him he crossed with BF on way to Pyrenees! As BF are only sending emails! It might just save him the 200 odd miles across from Caen-Calais if he can contact them.
cheers Marc

Re: If your Traveling with Brittany Ferries soon read this!
Cheers for the thought but I'm back in the UK after getting a text from BF at 3.30 on Saturday.I was the otherside of Brittany and after finding some internet access I had to ride to calais as BF had stopped everything and everything else I checked was full. I even looked at going to Ireland then travelling across the Irish sea home.
I Left Roscoff area about 6.30 and packing up and loading bike and headed east, after speaking to a few fellow travellers on route it seemed all the ferries at Calais were full as well so I dive on the Chunnel and the gits were charging 117 euro's for the privaledge of crossing instead of the usual 55 euro's. I then road home to Stourbridge and managed to get in before the rain came.
One guy had travelled from Bordaux to Roscoff only to find out he had to Calais.
So now to get my expense's back from BF
cheers Spud

I have heard of lame excuses but this takes the cake any normal biker faced with ferry problems would simply head south and extend ones holiday until things get sorted (which is normally quite qwick here in France)Redmurty wrote:Cheers for the thought but I'm back in the UK after getting a text from BF at 3.30 on Saturday.I was the otherside of Brittany and after finding some internet access I had to ride to calais as BF had stopped everything and everything else I checked was full.
