So good to see this event again, it is always something to look forward to regatrdless of the weather! If Touratech are doing something then you can be sure it is going to be quality
It is always so good to see new faces at the rally events, as more and more peopkle find out just how much fun you can have in the UK with your toys! :woohoo:
The amount of couples that now join the ride outs is such a wonderful sight and it has been a real privilege to watch not only the Welsh event but all the ABR events grow and develop.
In particular with the ABR Wales event I arrived late on Friday at around midnight. There in the dark I pitched my tent and was offered a pint at the bar of our hosts. A young man at the bar, a few drinks on, was swearing. It's a pub and no issue there - a soft voice told him to pack it in and that nice people are staying and they don't want that kind of language. Nice, that ABR after just one previous event in the area has that kind of reputation. That, of course, is all down to the members - there for a good time and the chance to ride their machines.
The weather gave some slight and brief showers that I am sure added to the fun for the green lane riders. All in all there were about 4 green rides and a road ride. Various levels of ability being tailored for and all done for no other reason than to enjoy our motorcycles.
I had the chance to take come pictures and I have loaded them onto facebook - please feel free to have a look at your leisure.

I hope all enjoyed the event and I look forward to seeing as many of you that can make it at the next rally ride

Some from the campsite on the morning before the ride of the Gloucester contingent
Kilmi on breakfast duty
DaveC's efforts - not bad on an XR250 (however he didn't carry any of it back haha)
The 3 lightweight toys (Front my KLX 250, middle Kilmi's XR 250 and rear Dave's XR250)
Our camp away from the loud ones with all the 'superior' kit and big bikes - us and them
MrsPilgrim knowing her place cooking my brekkie rolls
Me just after I put my stockings on
