Dealer Praise ALTBERG BOOTS

Post by desertraider »

Boots to me have allways been a pain to get right , ive a wide fitting foot and big calves , so to get boots to fit ive got to go up a size or two even , so after reading reports on ALTBERG BOOTS i paid them a visit to their factory shop in Richmond north yorkshire , after a quick chat about what i want and looking for , they took my foot size on their little machine , and it took all of 5 mins to find all the boots in stock that would fit the bill , they are all good looking boots and was down to me to pick the boot i liked the most , after picking aset , we were chatting about bikes and touring and i was on about the stella , all i got was how goods that wish i could go send us some pics when you get back , at that he knocks £40 off the price and gives me a tin of leather grease wax for free aswell , all in all a good day out .

I've had a pair for about 6 years (Clubman Classic), I think they are probably the best boots I have ever owned. Dry, a great fit and really comfortable - even when walking about.

They make foot blanks. You pay a lot to get them, but then when you need another pair of boots they make them to order. They take loads of measurements of your feet, s they fit like a glove.

They make a lot of boots for Army and service personel, best you can buy.

I can't praise Altberg boots enough, I use them in my day job and they last and keep me ticking over B)

Never had a pair of their bike boots so would be interested on your opinion on how they are doing after you have Stella'd them

I have an old, battered pair of Altberg Field and Fell boots.Last weekend they had a wet ride to the Farmyard Party in Yorkshire followed by a weekend of walking around the muddy site and they didn't let a bit of water in.O.K.they are not proper bike boots but I would recommend them :)
