Carrying Dogs on bikes

Post by Tony »

Hi fellow ABR's
I'm thinking of getting a dog (boarder terrier) and would love to take him on my travels does anybody have any help regarding legalities etc or any ideas regarding carrying a small dog on a bike at the moment i'm riding a Varadero but was thinking of a trade to a Tiger 1200, anyway, please reply.

Make sure you post a picture of the pup when you get him/her B)

I don't know the legality but there was someone I read about, (perhaps on here?) who travelled all over with their dog and I have seen a Jack Russell poking its head out of a top box before.

As for goggles, it's doggles you will need Doggles

Basically a dog is classed as a load and it must be secured properly thats about as far as the law goes.

Here are a few more.
