I've fitted the Yoshimura full system on mine, haven't seen the need to mod the airbox or fit a fuel controller. Bike hasn't been running hot.

To be fully up front I am having some trouble with mine, still riding it but now erring towards either a coil issue or HT lead playing up (almost 30 000 miles now) ......but maintenance is very straightforward & service intervals are impressively long.

I find it a very fun bike to ride, on the road with street tyres it is effortless playing with traffic. For circa £4000 brand new, there's not much else out there that can touch it (thumbs)

But did you not blow up your previous engine with that combo?....think i may get a crf when i return from a upcoming holiday...there are a few year 16 bikes with well under 1k miles for sale around £3250 and that's from dealers.... :woohoo:

yes, there seems to be some great deals around on these.
I always used to buy private but there was always something wrong, or worn, with no warranty or comeback, so now I go `dealer` (and finance  ) (thumbs) but hopefully not again for a while B)

[tho tbh there are substantial savings on cash deals, private.]

engine: it seems best to either // leave stock, //or go the whole hog conversion, air, jets, exhaust and controller thingy ?

I don't own one so I'm just interested in "tuning" mods and results.
they do, just plugged it and will be testing tomorrow. It helped my xt so maybe will crf too.

OK, I rode a bit without o2 sensor. Unfortunately I didn't noticed any noticeable improvements except occasional pop from the pipe :) Possibly a little less engine braking too.

Looks like small cc bikes don't have to be so much restricted to pass emission tests like bigger bikes. Anyway I am reconnecting this sensor back.

I always run them with at least 25psi , you sacrifice a bit traction, but the only
Puncher I have ever had in 8000 miles, much off road included ,is one muddy
Day I decided to drop to 18psi for better grip, didn't really notice much difference
But I ended up with a pinch puncture of hitting a rock to hard.

I'm running std set up with no rim locks.

Pirelli mt21 on the front and Mitas e09 on the rear is what I run, it's a great
Duel purpose combination, and came recommended from the ABC lot.
