Hi guys,

Going to look at a terra adventure on monday. The guy is asking 1300 but he will settle for 1150, it has 2000 miles on the clock, but the guy said the clock reset when the last owner took it for a service and the actual mileage is 8000. Is this a known problem that can occur (seems strange)?

I will get an hpi check done before buying.

Does this seem like a good price (if the mileage is correct)?

Hi,
Mine had the same issue as it was said that water had got into the system. As it is all electronic and looks to be single unit it looks like that is the only option when/if they fail. I have noticed moisture in the new one but keep it as dry as possible.

Hi everyone, another derbi terra owner here . I'm 26 and it's been 8 years since I had my last 125(Honda nsr) so I did my cbt last Friday but hoping to do my full licence. I decided to get back on a 125 as the gf and I are trying to save to move selling my 30 mpg car to get the derbi . I picked it up yesterday 30 miles ride home and it didn't miss a beat so nice to ride takes in the odd pothole on the a38 no problem. The bike is a 57 plate with 1700 miles and it looked new when I viewed it the guy gave me heated grips and bike books too all for 1250 . Only thing it hasn't got is a handbook any idea where I can get one ? Did anyone set up a group to join would be great to have a meet up with others . Cheers Adam

Nice Beaky-bike, somewhere I've got a download of a manual for the Terra Adventure, but no doubt ask the major bits are the same. A38, where would that put you? There are almost enough of us to try and get together, but we could be scattered far and wide which could make it a bit more difficult. In the mean time, yes, I did do the Facebook thing and here's a link.

You're mad, but you're also taller than me so your feet reach the ground properly for skiing.

Mind you our snow's all gone so no snowbiking for me.

Hello all fellow DTA riders, you've been hard to find!

Is anyone able to tell me where I can get some high power add on lights? Riding around the countryside isn't exactly fun at night with just the terrible excuse for a headlight!
