Agreed but can we afford them to play Russian roulette with our kids with some muslim minority's anymore? . shouldn't we be pro active instead or re active?
If british people did this in any other country, wouldnt they round us all up and chuck us all out??
But we say... come in yes you can build a mosque and clealy harbour extremists..seems like to me. We sit around and wait for the them to covertly strike and deal with the aftermath. Again and again and again.

If a dog is born in a stable, does that make it a horse .?Helicoptermanr22 wrote:British born, like the others. Not immigrants.
If you maintain this level of political correctness then sadly it will continue. You could argue that not muslims are rerrorists but all terrorists have been muslims.
Some say there are thousands on the watch list. In which case we will never have the capacity to deal with it and will be a matter of time before it happens again.
Round them up stick em on a rusty ship. Sail out to sea n pull the plug. Job done[/quote]
That is so wrong calling the bastards muslims. Using your analogy, just because a terrorist calls himself a muslim, it doesn't make him one. They are sick and try to cling to any ideology that gives them credibility. It is time the whole world simply referred to them as terrorists without any additional labels.

Part of the problem in this country affecting everything is we seem to have soft left and hard right within both our politicians and our people and very few people in the middle ground who have almost no voice.

I really do worry for the collective intellect (lack of) in this country if this site is representative of most people. It's comments like the above which lead to further issues, not their resolution. There are some prize-winning dimwits here, that's for sure.Helicoptermanr22 wrote:Agreed but can we afford them to play Russian roulette with our kids with some muslim minority's anymore? . shouldn't we be pro active instead or re active?

Re: Manchester arena bomb
1) Stop messing about with sovereign nations in the middle east: our interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya were unsuccessful...and that's being polite.
2) Realise that there's more than one kind of Muslim, and the majority actually admire the UK (except for the mess we invariably make when we jump into another country). A mate of mine worked in Pakistan in the late 1980s, he said that the ultimate status symbol there was having been to the UK...people used to drive around with Union Jack stickers and GB plates on their cars even though they'd never been to the UK, and they were always asking him about where he had lived in the UK etc. If you go to Morocco, Tunisia etc you will hear some very robust views expressed about IS etc...they hate them more than we do. You should have heard the Bangladeshi taxi driver I spoke to last week on the subject...
3) Identify those who would do us harm here in the UK and take appropriate steps. "Mental health issues' are often cited, so we need to take appropriate action using mental health legislation.
4) Be very sceptical about young men from the ME who are attempting to enter or re-enter the UK after time spent in Libya, Syria etc...
