Excellent, well chuffed for you. Enjoy the bike.
No doubt it will be gone over with a fine tooth comb before it leaves the factory as well. (thumbs)

Decco,
I have lurked, following this thread with interest. I admire both your patience and reasonableness and hope you have many happy miles of smiles on the replacement steed. Congratulations on showing a calm head can win through and well done to the dealer who seems to have been trying to do the right thing throughout.

Great newsDecco wrote:So in response to my engine woes with this bike, KTM are giving me a brand new bike.
Can't say fairer than that really, should be here in a couple of days on a 17 plate.
Only downside is I cant keep the Akro system from the old bike, I can have the other stuff on it. I can also get the AKRO system at cost price if I want it , but to be honest, It probably wasnt helping the problem.
So I should have a spanking new bike that I can run in myself.
Will It Buff Out?

Yes I'm interested too, I' have asked to be kept informed out of interest but whether that will happen or not! who knows?
I'm think the bike was leaning off way too much in closed loop, and with the full akropovic and k&n filter it was just too much, way too much. maybe as simple as a damaged sensor.
Dealer said he was going to test all the sensors last Wednesday, not spoken to him since then.

Well done for sticking with it and a satisfactory result for you. It is a shame about the Akropovic exhaust but i think you have to be a superhero to appreciate the slight amount of extra power gained on a big bike off road.
