Hi lads ,I'm just back home from a few days in the highlands ,I met 3 polish guys all on bikes ,all living in the uk ,all working ,paying taxes, contributing too the uk economy .they can't understand what's happening in England . Their narrow minded view , and arrogance . And as a Scot I agree , Iv made no bones about wanting independents for Scotland . I don't want it this way due too the referendum re the eu. Please guys, England dosnt have an empire anymore , don't isolate England from the rest of Europe

Come on Al...no one from Scotland can explain this ...so here is your chance ....

Why do Scots want to be independent from the rest of the U.K., but want ( demand??) to be part of the EU ?

Welcome back Al. Despite my narrow mindedness and arrogance (thumbs) I hope you had a good trip. A shame you didn't point out to your friends that we're not all the same.

You're not the same...you are English and as Al is at pains to point out, that's not the same as being Scottish .... ( I'm not sure why that is but I'm sure Al is going to explain in a minute how wanting to exit the EU makes you a racist but wanting to exit the UK doesn't ..????

I'm embarrassed by it. My wife and I are away on holiday and watching the German (English speaking) news channel in our hotel is showing me how low we've fallen in other countries eyes. They've been interviewing politicians from different countries and the unanimous verdict from them is if we don't like them we need to leave as soon as possible and be prepared to be financially hammered.
Couldn't they find a politician who has reached puberty yet? Just because we don't want to be in their club dosn't mean we don't like them, and as for threatening us with a spite filled financial hammering is just pathetic.they ought to remember that they don't like it up em
Don't like it up em? For fucks sake grow up and remember who were our front line for 40 years!

Come on Al...no one from Scotland can explain this ...so here is your chance .... Scotland is a different country to England , Scots are kelts, as irland ,and some parts of Spain , England are Anglo Saxon . Unfortunately some little England mentality think they own Scotland ,sorry they don't ,we have a completely different legal system built on Roman law ,where,s England legal system is built on NORMAN law . Academics world wide say Roman law is fairer and more just system . Scotland has always identified it's self as European ,unfortunately England never has ,always thinking they know best, some would say arrogance ,draw your own conclusion , I just want a better future for my son aged 18 about to study accountancy . Cheers Al (thumbs) (thumbs) (thumbs)
