Another location visited on a run last Sunday
Slieve Gullion Forest, County Armagh.
A 7 mile forest drive that takes you round Slieve Gullion. Lots of places to stop & take in the great views across the South Armagh countryside.
Free entry into the park. Gets quite busy at weekends - so early morning is best.
Directions - heading south on A1 take the last exit for Newry/Warrenpoint. At end of slip road take the fourth exit off roundabout- the Forkhill Rd. Continue through the village of Meigh (Mike). The entrance to the park is about a mile further on, on the right.
Great roads abound in the surrounding area also.

Another Co Armagh site visited last Sunday - Carrickatuke Viewpoint.
Located off the A29, between Newtownhamilton & Keady,in the Fews Forest.
The site is fairly negleted-but on a good day would offer up some great views. Great roads in the area also
