Both friends of mine who bought new Africa twins have both complained to Honda about rusting spokes

It is, at least it's a lot crapper than it should be given the price and a so called "premium" badge, an 1150GSA is hardly representative of BMW today.

To be honest most forged metals come from china as they have low price ....no wonder stuff tarnashis or get oxidation....

Back in the old days it was either Germany or uk quality...

I wonder what a metalurgist would make of the metal contents on a spectograph lol....

Free tin of hammerite with every bike lol...was it coated in acf50 ?...

hi, the bike has been regularly coated with scottoiler Fs 365 , and the bike has never been on a salt covered road .
