I was there a couple of weeks back and the roads are totally clear up on the tops. Lots of laying snow on the sides though.

Packed for 2 days camping on my little bike. tent, groundsheet, airbed and pump, sleeping bag, cooking gear, food, tools, 2 cameras and gopro, Spare clothes and towel. Easy!!
Travel happy, Travel light.

1984 K100RT Leaving France in the rain on Tuesday last.....after lunch with everyone we met there, Brunos in Rouffignac St Cernin.

Didn't get time to paint the new panniers, replacements for the original BMW ones. On board was 2 man tent and everything needed for wild camping.

Ready for the off to Normandy via Portsmouth / Le Havre for the 70th aniversary of the D day landings.
Camping near Bayeux & looking forward to breakfast on Honfleur harbour quay in the morning.

Tool kit in the brown bag with my headtorch and some food. The main pack is my Karrimor 3 man outer tent only :unsure: , bivvy bag and sleeping bag all in one. The small roll is a self-inflating mattress. The tool tube has 1 litre flavoured water and a bag of peanuts

Rucksack has a change of clothes, toiletries, trainers and a little bit more food

Goretex pants, rain jacket and waterproof gloves on seat. Sat nav and heated grips. Leaving 6.30 to meet Beddows etc at Coniston Lake, a mornings trail riding in the Southern Lakes, followed by the crossing to Piel Island and 1 night camp. Complete with heavy thundershowers. (thumbs)

Just finished packing. We'll repacking, never seem to get it right first time.
No camping this trip, very mature crowd so comfy beds at night.
Hotels booked in Spain and Portugal.
Ferry from Plymouth to Santander tomorrow afternoon.
Back in ten days. See ya then.
