You've got too many bikes, send one to me and I'll help you outSteveW wrote:Got the 450r back after the dealer finally got to the bottom of bad starting/excessive choke / erratic tick over.
Dyno-jet and K&N.
I'd had the rear wheel rebuilt with HD spokes, fitted new chain and sprockets, chain guide and a couple of new panels after a little incident in France. I also treated it to some hooligan graphics which I think it deserves.
Fantastic slightly bonkers bike!
Edit....
Also got the KTM 450 back after finally getting the correct Rekluse clutch fitted....happy days!

Installed a mount for my Garmin Montana GPS (thumbs)

First oil change on my 990A, well first one I've ever done anyway. Bloody mission but I think next time it will be much easier. Really a two person job to remove the tank with hoses and connectors needing removed.
It's a satisfying job, an oil change (thumbs)

Not so much today as over the weekend but there's now only the KTM 1190 left at home and that goes into a shipping container next weekend then we'll have no bikes to ride for a couple of weeks.
I've been busy boxing up all the clutter that accumulates when you've got two garages and a 12' x 10' workshop and trust me, it's a lot :pinch:
I need to visit the council recycling centre to dump a couple of car loads of things that I've made an executive decision (the wife's in Vienna) to clear out and then rip the electrics out of the workshop ready to dismantle it.
There'll be a post regarding soft luggage free to a good home soon but it's a collect it before it goes to the tip job (thumbs)

I still seem to be collecting bikes from our shipping container then dropping them off somewhere else to be messed with :pinch:
The Montjuic went off this morning to be completely rewired because I'm totally fed up with finding dry connections or half broken wires and no matter how much I replace or resolder there's always something else. It might be ready before Xmas or it might be early next year but I'm not particularly bothered as long as it runs properly and charges the battery.
I also need to give the guy who's fitting new crank seals to my wifes LC a nudge and see how he's getting on because I don't want him phoning and suddenly saying it's done, come and collect it when I've got a garage full of other bits & pieces and nowhere to put it.

If you need someone to look after the bikes with some 'character' that run I'd be happy to do that for you.
You know, start them up once a month, take them for a 'brief run' that sort of thing.

All my bikes have got character, it's just that some of them have slightly bad characters and the trouble is that they're the ones you want.[email protected] wrote:If you need someone to look after the bikes with some 'character' that run I'd be happy to do that for you.

If that's an LC 350 Yam as well as the Montjuic you might just be able to squeeze my are round enough to keep them here in the Pyrenees for you - needless to say I'da have to keep them 'warm' for you :whistle:AndyB wrote:All my bikes have got character, it's just that some of them have slightly bad characters and the trouble is that they're the ones you want.[email protected] wrote:If you need someone to look after the bikes with some 'character' that run I'd be happy to do that for you.
