I don't think I suggested that the bikers were not at fault at all.

If you watch the other videos, you will see that the bikers were out looking for trouble and they found it. However they bit off more than they could chew and were injured as a result.

Which is exactly what I am suggesting. They past thousands of vehicles looking for trouble, but the only place they found trouble was in the driving seat of that RR!

I've watched the sixth video down until I'm ten minutes in. I see lots of silly riding, but no RR. Can somebody point me to the point in the video where the bikers first encounter the RR please?

I expect a number of people would be arrested....for the record the RR driver has been charged with at least one offence, and no doubt there's enough video evidence to charge most of the motorcyclists with something.

In circumstances where your vehicle is surrounded by an angry, criminal mob you are quite justified in making an escape by driving over at least some of them. There have been numerous incidents, including a motorcyclist who was murdered by a mob at the start of the Brixton riots back in the 1970s. I'm not aware of any law that forces you to hang around and get killed.

They were riding like idiots but nowhere in the earlier clips was there any evidence of intimidation towards the Range Rover driver and I've not seen any report of him or his wife calling the police on a mobile so it appears that he didn't particularly care if he'd killed someone or not.

What would you have done if someone had used a car to take out a member of your family in that way? I'm not trying to say the riders were blameless because they certainly weren't but the nutter in the car needs locking up for his actions.

Can't really blame the driver for legging it. Impossible odds no matter how tough you recon you are. The bloke was in fear of his life and that of his family.
The bikers were a bunch of idiots looking to intimidate all other road and pavement users as can be seen on a number of the video clips. It ended in tragedy for at least one biker and a whole mess of trouble for the driver and a number of other parties.
The vehicle driver was put in a situation that was none of his making and reacted out of fear. I don't blame him for his actions one bit.

Yes I have followed a car driver to his home to remonstrate with him on one occasion. Idiot driver all protected in his tin box.
Conversely, A car driver that almost put me into the armco on the A1 was given a quick blip on the throttle to make them aware of my presence and the incindent forgotten. We all make a mistake sometimes. No biggy.

I think that generally it is safe to assume that if somebody physically attacks you, as the bikers were prepared to attack the vehicle driver, they are intending to kill you, so extreme retaliation is fully juustified.

Shame the driver was not armed, there would be a few less fools in the world. :laugh: :laugh:

its not the first youtube video i have seen, were a roadrage incident between a biker and a car, ended with the car driver losing his temper and plowing into the bikes and almosts killing the bikers,

becoming very common lately, so it is,
