It'll be interesting to hear how you compare the Him to the MT350 in terms of weight. On paper the RE is almost 30 kilos heavier but I'd be surprised if that translated into the real world experience.

I agree mate, I found my MT350 to be comparable to my Himalayan. I reckon it was like an off road version and enduro version of the same bike.
Donโ€™t get me wrong, I totally enjoyed the Himalayan off road, the weight felt really low down and the torque was lovely. Maybe it was the proper knobblies I had on the MT but it felt I could push it further and also it dropped really really well ๐Ÿ˜‚

I finally pulled the trigger and put a deposit down on one just over a week ago (from CooperB) In three years Iโ€™ve gone from a 1200GS via a CB500X to the Himalayan and Iโ€™m looking forward to having a crack at some light off roading.

I'd say that you will have more fun on the Himalayan than the previous bikes ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘
Enjoy your new ride ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
