Just got back late last night after a much more relaxed return home (no iron butt challenge stuff)set off to Vielha and camped then to Rocamadour for the night and then the ferry home,what a quality 10 days its been , many thanks to simon & polly for all the hard work that went into arranging it and all the friendly guys & gals that attended,a special thanks to mick & paul & marko for making my first Hiss trip special many thanks total miles 3184

Well, the wind died down at exactly 12.00 midday on Saturday, just as the 'Devon Chapter' left and after just a few hours I could feel the blood running through my fingers again - what a climate, 42º degrees on Wednesday and 5/6º on Saturday (thumbs)

I think Polly and <i have only just come round/woken up this morning (Monday) and after our third 'lock-in' with Gaspar and Carmen we're off tomorrow before s humungous thunder storms roll in . . .

We're all alone here at Algarbe tonight and it's rather surreal . . .

I'll have to get myself together to add our photos and thoughts in a few days time when the dust - and I mean dust! has settled. Meanwhile a hige 'Thanks-you' to you all and it's great to hear that you're hoe safe and well.
