Personally I think some heads should have rolled in Brussels, Jean Claude Juncker being one of them, along the lines of "How have you got it so wrong that one of our biggest members has decided to leave?"

Just a shame that we had to call the lawyers and start a divorce in order for the spouse to change it's ways.

They need to heed the people but no junkers has said he wants closer ties,he needs to listen to the Poles and Hungarians and the other 2 eastern block countries. They also need to look at what the PIGS are also saying and they need to heed the growing nationalism that junkers and his mate hates.

Simple really listen to the people or the EU DIES

They are there for the people not the other way round

I think the point is that some who voted 'IN' are very quick to say that those of us who voted 'OUT' are completely wrong and that somehow our opinion doesn't matter as much as theirs. There is a sense of self-righteousness with some of the 'IN' voters.

For years it's been considered to be the keyboard equivalent of shouting if you use block capitals where they're not needed but you probably already knew that.

I voted in so go and waste a few hours finding somewhere where I've suggested that the opinion of those who voted out doesn't matter as much as mine. I'm not one of the crowd that's been crying for a second referendum or saying that if everyone fully understood what they were voting for the result would have been different. We all had a vote, the majority voted out and that's it.
