I had 2 experiences last year using BF. One trip June and one September. Both had ship troubles. Had more issue on March 2 due to route change. Could not fault them, they behaved impeccably on each occasion and very happy with the outcome but none have huge numbers manning phones so phone contact is not an option for them.
You need to let them do the cancelling as they do eventually offer to change to another date or refund. Don't panic and cancel, then it becomes your loss.
The bigger picture is that the companies need to stay in business and even though everyone might be entitled to refunds they need cash and might be in everyones interest for some to take credit note or voucher. My son had a big trip to NYC booked for this week and now has a 5 year voucher from an airline. He is happy on that one.

When was you sailing date?
Was the voucher for the full amount (ie out and return)?
I wouldn't mind a refund in full - divided into 2 people ... we may not be able to do the next booking together
Of course the longer the validity the better as well

16th April, one way to Ireland from Spain. My worry is that if they keep the money and then go bust, the voucher will be worthless, and right now we could do with the €361 being refunded whereas travelling at some point during the next couple of years seems so far away.

Okay... If anyone has a. Booking with eurotunnel... Use their customer service contact form.. It will take about 5 days for a reply... We have had our frequent traveller account extended from June to September... And that's a change from 1 week ago when they point blank refused...
They are starting to think of future booking revenue lol... So we know have 3 crossing to use lol... If and when the borders open...
Some good news in a otherwise mental world.... Ohh and the baby birds are hatching.. Yippee nature continues..
