I was riding through France and saw a Commonwealth War Graveyard, immaculately cared for.
I thanked this pair of gardeners for doing such a great job.
These two graves moved me as I had been a Sapper and my twin older brothers and son were Gunners. The poor schmucks weren’t smart or good looking enough to be Sappers.
