I currently have 9 but definately not an ideal complimentary selection. 5 seems like a sensible number and would only want bikes that would get frequent use, not interested in looking at or polishing.
My current choice would be:
KTM 1190R
BMW 1200RTLC
Egli Vincent (Godet)
BMW HPN type Airhead
KTM 400EXC
Five Bikes For Your Garage
Re: Five Bikes For Your Garage
TL1000r -don't know why but Ive always liked them and what a stonking engine.
KTM 450 exc - offroad toy
Pan Euro - touring tool
GSX1400 - the mrs has one and I couldn't have a fantasy garage without one now.
Royal Enfield Bullet- had one last year but it had to go for SWMBO to 'upgrade' to the GSX.
Currently have 4 (well 3.5) in there, its a nice selection but not quite my dream garage.
Varadero 1000 2010
GXS1400
KL250g Sherpa
CX500-ec sport - still in a few bit but slowly going back together.
