Another County Down spot. Stopped on my way home from work yesterday. Located at Corbet.
A nice picnic site beside the River Bann. You can ride your bike into the site. A picnic table and another seat at the lower end of the site.
A lovely spot for relaxing a while. If you are lucky you might spot a passing Kingfisher doing a low pass along the river
Directions from Banbridge. Take the Castlewellan Rd (A50) out of town, follow for about 2 miles to Corbet, turn right at the crossroads unto the Drone Hill Rd.Follow the road round to the right. The site is on the left before the bridge.
Northern Ireland..Places to stop, take in the views.

Another one spotted today whilst out bonding with my new(to me) bike
Just outside Portaferry, County Down. Just follow the Strangford Lough shoreline south out of the town & it is on the right.
Great views across to Strangford and back towards Portaferry

A nice ice-cream run for the boys and me when we slip out of work early on the sunny days.
