Hi Picos, just a thought i work in Thame and finish work on Thursday and ride back to South Wales via the A40 if you want company!

Thanks for the offer but my plan may not suit your work comittment.
I intend to leave early Thursday morning pass to the north of Oxford & on to the Forrest of Dean via Glocester. Then on through the Brecon Beacons & out west via the minor roads to Haverfordwest.
Quite a slow journey but i've got all day to do 260miles so might as well make it a tour with visits to POI's rather than a passage make.

Hope to get to the camp site before 6pm so I can have a lazy evening ready for a full day Friday exploring Skomer. regs. Brian.

Hi Al I take it that's depart 10.00hrs Zulu in the morning not 00.10hrs Zulu after breakie? looking forward to it & proudly displaying my stickier on my top box. did get your phone call but was high up in the Afan valley with my boys enjoying some of your liquid sunshine on some brilliant mountain bike trails. if the ride out is as good as those trails as I am sure it will be its set to be a brilliant weekend.

will be bringing down some Kentish ale to enjoy & share with my welsh cawl
