Gerbing vs Keis heated clothing

I bought the missus a Keis heated waistcoat a couple of years ago when we bought the GS (she missed the heated seat on the RT) and she raved about it, so I managed to pick one up from Allan Jefferies BMW for £40 as it was discontinued stock. It's one of the best accessories I've ever bought as it makes riding in single digit temperatures comfortable (thumbs)

A few years ago I bought a Gerbing jacket liner at the NEC show

For me it was good to try it on and discuss things with them as I was unsure

I liked the fact that gloves could easily be added later if you get a dual control

At the time they had just brought out the wireless controller and I am so glad that I went for this option ... bundle deal done

I secure the small wireless box with Velcro and it is easy to reach and adjust the temperature whilst on the move. I can easily use on either of my 2 bikes and have since added the gloves. The standard controller would not be so easy and may detract from the enjoyment due to it being more of a faff to use

The heated option allows you to wear less layers and be more comfortable as you can adjust your temperature to suit. It also allows you to pack lighter for travelling

The 1st time I used the Gerbing I stopped by squires cafe, I hadn't realised I'd knocked the knob on the duel controller to its highest setting while walking around. but when I jumped back on the bike & plugged it in & set off, I had to stop sharpish to cool down and adjust the temp
