I've been out more than twice and I still come off much more than you did mate, keep it up it gets easier the more you do it...actually it doesn't but you are not bothered about it as much I guess. Easier being in a group, more for the moral, last time I went out on some trails kindly given to me by AckAck I was by myself and it just became miserable and depressing trying to negotiate them. Knackering too.
Good work, I expect AckAck to have sorted you out with a BBRR sticker, welcome to the group. :-)

Monsal Head... Ahhhhhh..... Havent been up there fer a good few years....

Tho Putwell (Just down the road from Monsal Head) was included fer the Edinburgh Trial again this year...

Strewth... Putwell B Section (The Right hand turn bit after the lane under the bridge), Was composed ov foot square boulders...

I almost made it to the smooth part however "Bounced off" an landed on the wall on the right...

On top of the wall was barbed wire, so when I tried to extract mesel, I was stuck there like I had been velcro'd to the wall....

Had to be un-hooked by a couple of Marshals... :)

Will have to look this up unless you can point to it on a map.

Note to self.... Take wire cutters

Go t' the MonsalHead Hotel B6465 Round the View-point car park and down hill Towards Wye Mill just past RL Gegory Builders an Upperdale Guest House (About a mile) Left.. Over a small river bridge then up hill to the left Under the Disused Railway Bridge.. You are then at Putwell A.

There are gates.... The track leads into Putwell B after about a quarter of a mile which is sharp right up hill.... The track then comes out over fields (More gates) and cattle..

Through a farm then Left down to the A6 at Taddington Woods....

Tho it is a "Delicate" Area.... :)
