I've been to Nodkapp which is the furthest north you can go in Europe. I went in August (that's Autumn that far north) in 2008. It was freezing cold and so foggy that there was absolutely no view at all. Norway is very beautiful but Nordkapp itself is an expensive rip-off.

Just a thought what's the furthest north anyone has been on a bike?????

It is a wonderful country. There's at least one Norwegian ABR memeber on here that I remember, might be worth tracking down ?
Sweden is a lot quicker to travel north and South, but IMHO Norway ticks the boxes for hills and bends.
Hope your trip comes off but you'll have to go up thro' Denmark these days.

Furthest North Mrs Stubbsie & I rode were the Shetland Isles crossing over to Yell & Unst whilst on the Simmer Dim Rally June in 1989 & 1990.
The Simmer Dim was amazing as it only just goes dusk almost 24 hrs of light in June
