The prices are out I was looking yesterday and found one dealer was showing the two verions on their web site to order £7000 for the road version and £7600 for the XC. No doubt more £'s for the extras, it will be good to see the bike in the flesh and find out the actual specs. It's got to be better than the BMW and it would be good to support a British success story.:)
Have a look http://www.woodsmotorcycles.co.uk/motor ... I86878.htm
Never enough time and so much to see and experience.

Previously a VStrom 650, and a KTM SMR 950, currently XT600E with many mods. And now a F800GS Trophy since the KTM has gone.

i'm sure this is a good indication - but it does say price approx. So could change slightly. I think the xc with ABS for £8200 is a bit high - but depends on the spec of the bike.

I was in Fowlers Bristol yesterday, and spoke to one of the Triumph salesmen in there. He told me that the road going Tiger 800 will definitely be 7K with £600 quid extra for ABS. The price of the 800XC Tiger had not been confirmed to Fowlers by Triumph yet.
They will be having a demo bike at the beginning of December, and i'll deffo be testing this bike. The price, specs and how it looks are all good to me. If it rides ok and no reliabilty issues get reported, by next summer i may chop in my Strom for one.

Methinks that Triumph have yet another queue forming for a yet to be released bike - just as they did for the 675.

I what to try one NOW

Watching the countdown on the triumph adventure site, timer gets to zero and then shoots up again. What does the new time mean !!. Hopefully thats when it is released to dealers showrooms. Although we should start seeing more photos of it at the milan show.

timer ain't actually going up or down now. I'm assuming we are just waiting for Triumph to upload the final video - which is supposed to release the final specs of both bikes.

I think this is just some social experiment to see how many people an advertising campaign can get hooked into a fictional bike.:woohoo:
