we always use the 1 & 2 man throw up tents , we have made brackets to carry them on the side of our panniers, we have never had a problem with leaking, and we carry a tarp for comunial area ,

I used to take my Trangia along as an extra stove so I could cook inside the tent and then I discovered pre-heating gel for my petrol stove so no more fireballs and worry free cooking inside with it

I'll have a look when I get home for the weekend but I may not have the container any longer. I emptied it out into a soft plastic container with a screw top then modified the nozzle of a Scottoil bottle so I can squirt gel into the fuel bowl.
You can use that alcohol hand wipe stuff and it works just as well but beware of invisible flames! The beauty of using gel (apart from it being safer) is that you don't get all that manky soot on the fuel bowl and the stove can be put away without getting your hands as dirty. I usually put a squirt of gel all the way around the bowl then wait until it's either completely burnt off or there's only a tiny amount left before turning the fuel on and it never flares and burns hot straight away.
