Thanks. So, to do a proper job of an oil change you would need to drain all three plugs? Given than most of the oil lives in the frame, is it possible to change the filter by just draining the third plug?

I would change filter if it was me all those clutch particles floating around and if plates were burnt there will be bits in oil B)

You also have a wire gauze filter in the front tube if I remember correctly too.. That can gunk up.

The oil filter drain isn't really necessary to drain. Especially if you're changing the filter which at £3 each, there is no reason not to.

You had enough oil in. I'm sure the bike is fine now.

I hope you soaked those plates in oil overnight before fitting them ????? :whistle:
