Use one of these 'Pour & Store' bags and you don't even have to get out the tent to pee.
what do you think the lenor bottle is for? ;)
I know what it's for but the bags fold up very small and is leak proof. :)
but they burst in the bottom of your sleeping bag when you use them as footwarmers

(but ive just had a thought, they would make good 'waterbombs' for noisy neighbours?)

If you are sleeping on the floor put your Karrimat either inside your sleeping bag or under the groundsheet to avoid slipping off it in the night.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

for coffee, these Smartcafe mugs are great. It's tough plastic so perfect for packing.

Stick the coffee + hot water in, let it brew then push the filter down. Ready to drink.

Works with loose tea as well.

OK, I have said it before & I'll say it again - Why wouldn't I just take my 1.4kg tent & 1kg sleeping bag & actually be happy? :)
Dont get me wrong-i carry my tent as well. If conditions are right i use the bivvi etc. On this night i had a good nights sleep and was happy :) Two nights before (in Ullapool) I was in my tent and got about 2 hours sleep

A huge +1 for the SmartCafé mug, I've had one for several years and use it every day, not just for camping. They're cheap-ish too from Robert Dyas.

With enough water to make a medium or 2 small strong brews (Even tea with a round T bag) it will boil in about 70 seconds on a gas stove.
I have 3, and choose tiny, medium or big depending if I am alone or not.
Lightweight alloy and breaks down to smaller pieces to store away.

I have a 'small' and 'large' one of these that I carried in my van, and to be honest I thought they took up too much room in the van let alone carrying one on the bike, the novelty of one soon wears off, as with a 'kelly kettle', total waste of time.

I once read, Always have a good sleeping bag and a good pair of boots, as you either in 'One or the other'

Great if it rains and you want 1/4 ton of GS on you

I'd pitch on the other side of the way the bike is leaning
