I only stumbled on this date change by chance as I don't read every post that gets put up.......maybe an idea to put up another thread stating the date change if it goes ahead? :)

I agree with everything cocker posted. I too have to book my hol dates early at work due to first come first served policy, to start changing dates is wrong. When I plan a trip I book my dates then the ferry then that's it I know I'm committed to going and I like to do it early. So the sooner we can get this sorted the better. :)

The date for the trip will remain no change .
Thanks everyone for there comments and views . The motto camp is there all year and anyone wishing to visit will be welcome.
Reading through the posts, must say a few seemed to be getting very animated on a simple "ask" I have and will be extremely busy earning some dosh during the winter. The hours i work are very very long so i can't keep up with the posts day by day. Having reviewed the posts on here, FB and my emails i can not see any benefit on changing the date .

Just to add to Mark's comments......

If an earlier group want to come to the Motocamp I will be here and will still be able to do the same road trips (and a little off road) as the main group coming on 25th.

Weather here at the moment is cold - looking out of my window at about a foot of snow so I am really looking forward to the plus 35 degrees of August !

On the list of places to visit (some in the same day) are...

Etar - small artisan village
Buzludhzha - The big "spaceship" on top of a mountain
Shipka Pass and the Shipka monument
Troyan Monastery
Veliko Tarnovo - old Bulgarian capital
Devetashka caves - Hollywood filmed some scenes from Expendebles here
Krushuna wateralls
Ride around the local trails

And of course, lazy days in the sun with a few beers.

Hi Martin,

This sounds like the great compromise. I'm not sure if I'm coming east at all but if I do it'll have to be in the early part of August - I'd 'do' Bulgaria on my way home!

Cheers

Simon
