Yep that's machined from ally. They'll be like this, maybe a bit lower as this one is 12 mm higher than the low end on a standard X bike cap. It'll provide a 100% airtight seal (which is handy if you've got to siphon fuel from an aux. tank) and won't be lockable.
I'll be testing this one out in the next few weeks to see if there are any alterations to be made.

So I went looking for something magical today....a green lane called...Green Lane...

I daren't test it Brenhden, it's about 25 years old so it may fall apart if I touch too hard :laugh: any way, yours is fine (thumbs)
