No matter how good you are if your suspension isn't setup properly it makes for hard work, setup the suspension correctly for your riding style and weight and it can transform the bike, so money spent on good suspension work is never wasted.
Steve's (minky) bike is good example.

No pressure then, I honestly think the try trials venue is a bit limited, we had 6 trials bikes that weekend and it was chaotic at times, 12 trail/enduro bikes ,it would be bedlam, but I suppose it will be cheap compared to a dedicated off road venue, with bunkhouse and cafe on site, I think a couple of hours "dicking about" fri and sun on the land and keep sat for a full day's greenlane day . I'll give him a bell and see if it's doable and get some dates. (thumbs)

, cheers Mick , will keep an eye on date , me and her of to Spain for a couple of weeks December and tripping in Jan / Feb , but the bikes have just been fixed could do with being bent and broken again ! , on another note got a good yoshi exhaust of Chris on here , cheers , and looking to upgrade suspension on both , shock / Spring advice happily received ( no arguing ) I know , buy a better bike but have had ktm's wrf's etc these do the job for us when we're away without worrying to much about services etc , and the exhaust 'll make it sound like a really big and powerful thing
