Nothing to do with the referendum but one thing related to the housing shortage that bugs me is ex council houses being rented out by private landlords. I know it shouldn't annoy me but I've never been in favour of the right to buy schemes because the money was rarely used to build replacement homes and now they go to whoever can afford them rather than people who need them.

While I'm on a roll I'll have a dig about councils selling off houses then paying over the top amounts of money to put homeless families in accommodation rented out by private landlords

Isn't 0.5% of 64,600,000 actually 323,000 not 330,000?

Besides, 330,000 is Net Migration. Immigration, year ending December 2015, is 630,000.

The referendum may of highlighted some issues but it's not the cause, I'm an outer I see my self as a realist and someone who for once is being patriotic towards this country. Just because people are voting out does not mean they hate or condone what is happening anywhere in this world some of us can just see the pitfalls of a continuation of what is happening in Europe at the moment.

No one deserves shit no matter what the creed or colour

Totally agree, a mate was married bought his council house and made a bomb selling it but as a single man the chance of me getting a council house is zero

probably because they have all been sold off :whistle:

I don't give a sh*t if there are riots because I'll be over in Europe when the results become known and it's highly unlikely there'll be any trouble where I live unless one of the local farmers gets drunk and dumps a load of manure over the roads

funny you should say something like that I have just been speaking to an outer who has been say she has a mantra to accept what ever the result and make the most of it and not complain, but equally she has told her friends not to complain to her either.

Met another "remainer" today 7 now I think an 18 year university kid who said she was voting remain because she believed it was less of a risk, but was not happy at the thought of a federal Europe, but because she was really not sure of what would happen if we left and on the balance of things was voting in

A comment taken from one of the other motorcycle forums.

As an ex pat living in Denmark for the last thirty years I have seen the common market grow into the EU.....and nobody in their right minds should vote for leaders who are not democratically elected....So get out NOW the UK and watch countries like us follow you....who are fed up with the mess that the EU has become....

It's not just a UK issue. Plenty of people in the EU are fed up with the way that the EU behaving. The UK are just the leaders. (thumbs)
