Have you seen this video from the university of Liverpool.

Let me give you some preamble:
Leading EU law expert Professor Michael Dougan has added to his criticism of the referendum campaign’s “industrial dishonesty”, after a video featuring his thoughts drew millions of views online.
Professor Dougan, from the University of Liverpool’s Law School, analysed the central themes raised by both the Remain and Leave campaigns in a video that has clocked up more than two million views on Facebook since Friday, as well as almost 40,000 Youtube views and retweets from the likes of Billy Bragg and Alastair Campbell.
Pete, mate,I watched the video, the mans an Academic you wouldn't have an Academic run a sweet shop,Billy Bragg would hand this country to anyone not British and talking about "industrial dishonesty"Alastair Campbell is the the man who invented the Atomic Bomb of Dishonesty.
And its the university of Liverpool, not school.
EU. In or out?

Well of course you wouldn't have an academic run a sweet shop. Just like you wouldn't have a train driver run a sweet shop, bit of a pointless statement.Pint Master wrote:

He is an expert in the field of the EU and has given a narrative of possible outcomes if we leave or remain. As an engineer I would much rather listen to his data compared to the spin of a politician. (thumbs)

Hes an expert in going to school he's not in the real world.Pete it was you that introduced AC the SpinMaster.
Re: EU. In or out?
Thanks to the EU anyone wanting to take their motorcycle test since about 2010 has had to go to their 'local' and I use the term loosely as for some they're many miles from where they live, test centre. Gone are the days of many towns and cities having their own bike training schools where they could train and take their test.
And the reason for this ?? Because the EU brought in rules stating that certain parts of the test have to be carried out at 50kmh - and that's 31.07mph - the speed limit in most of our built up areas is 30mph. So because of the EU making a blanket rule at 50kph - 1.07mph over our speed limits - many training schools closed and everyone has to travel to the new super test centres where certain parts of the test are now carried out and not on the public highway.

Lies like fake polls shown by the media , they should at least get similar numbers FFS its embarrassing . The numbers differ greatly depends where you look , besides our own pole over here , over 70% of people that i have spoken to in the last few months are voting out .Dutchgit wrote:Bloody Nora ! You can't beat sense in some people on here. I mean those that keep spouting nonsense, lies .
But fear not , we are not leaving .
BTW soon the monthly EU bill will go UP - and that is a fact (thumbs)

I sat through that bollocks last night.
He started by saying that it was a myth that British law came from Brussels, and concluded by saying that, in the event of Brexit, we would have to rewrite our British lawbook because so much of our law was entwined into European legislation.
Yeah, right!
He's someone who has made a good living out of EU law over the years, so I don't blame him for wanting to stay in but I wouldn't listen to him any more than I would to David Beckham (who wants us to stay in because there are some good footballers in Europe, apparently), or Richard Branson who thinks the UK should stay IN the EU, but left the EU many years ago himself to make his home in the British Virgin Islands.
I'm still undecided, but the more I listen to each side the more I realise how little all these talking heads actually know.

He also said he'll get years of legal work if we leave, but he is not advocating leave.Richard Simpson wrote:
