Re: The new forum
Hi Alun…the new forum looks better but I seem to have lost the ability to Preview my messages before they are submitted? Has this tool been taken down B) or have I missed someting

Re: The new forum
You've missed 2 things. This lavish new forum comes with the choice of 2 preview styles, check out the last 2 buttons on the boardcode before the '?' icon. The '?' is for tea or coffee :blink:2 wheeled tourist wrote:Hi Alun…the new forum looks better but I seem to have lost the ability to Preview my messages before they are submitted? Have you tried sending a memo to management explaining your frustration? :dry:bunker wrote:Alun - new forum is grand.....my only problem with all the new fankled embedded e-bay links and pictures is that i can't see them at work

Re: The new forum
I managed it once with a beer fuddled brain and can't for the life of me remember how. I fear the grey cells have finally been nuked . I'll have a play now.Alun wrote:I'll check this out herman, don't use photobucket myself so can't offer answer right away. How did you manage to do it last night after the curry? Is anyone else having a problem uploading direct of their PC?herman wrote:When you say uploading is now easy you obviously did'nt have me in mind. I cannot post pics from my pc at all and now photobucket resizing is out the window. All worked fine before, bring back the old days thats what I say. getting the same fakepath thing as Jim.

Re: The new forum
Herman, I am determined to coach you through this. I edited your post by placing [strike][/strike] after the URL - NB do not use strike throughs, just the IMG within brackets. I also closed up the space between 'http' and the rest of the address. That's all.

Re: The new forum
Hi herman, I,m a Photobucket user if you select the image you want to use and resize it if required. On the righthand side of the screen a Box headed 'Share this image'.
highlight the IMG code in it and copy.(press the Ctrl & C key together.)
Open this reply box on the forum and just paste the image code. ( Ctrl & V keys this time) and you will have code inside the [IMG] brackets.
Hope this helps
